The Position and Responsibilities As a specialist nursing assistant, you are part of the regular operations within home care services. You are part of the unit's work team, participate in APT and work meetings, and collaborate closely with colleagues, unit managers, and development specialists to create security, quality, and development in the operations. The role is advisory and supportive within the work team and aims to strengthen the quality of daily care work. The work is carried out together with other employees and ensures that clients receive adequate care as well as a secure and meaningful everyday life. Your responsibilities include: Performing nursing assistant duties with a focus on the individual's needs and high quality. Documenting your own work according to regulations and supporting colleagues in documentation and care plans. Supporting colleagues in follow-up, reporting, and documentation of deviations, and contributing to increased understanding and quality in the unit's work methods. Mapping work procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to continuous operational development. Participating in monthly spot checks, training, workshops, and results reviews to strengthen quality and learning. Covering acute needs as they arise. The role requires a person-centered and professional approach as well as strong commitment to both clients and the work team. Work is carried out based on operational quality needs and may include both shorter and longer assignments at different units. We work across the entire home care service area. When placed at a specific unit, you will direct work-related questions to the unit's manager, who will be your immediate supervisor. For broader structural matters, you will be part of the project group led by the responsible unit manager for the project. Work is Monday through Friday, daytime hours, which provides good predictability and balance between work and leisure. Experience working with elderly individuals. Experience with documentation in Lifecare and work with care plans. As a specialist nursing assistant in this role, you are engaged and professional in your interactions with each individual, ensuring safe and high-quality care. You are flexible and adaptable, which allows you to support different units and colleagues as needed. Your communication and advisory skills strengthen the work team and contribute to correct documentation and reporting. With analytical and development-oriented competence, you map work procedures, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvements in operations.
