Job Responsibilities Do you want to work in a workshop where no two days are the same? Then this is a workplace for you! Municipality Technology's vehicle workshop is now seeking a new team member with interest and knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You will be part of a team of seven mechanics and work with heavy vehicles. The work tasks are varied and you will have customer contact with both internal and external customers. As a mechanic with us, you independently perform repairs, maintenance, and service of heavy vehicles (trucks, garbage trucks), winter equipment, tractors, large ride-on mowers, and other machinery in our vehicle fleet. Qualifications We are looking for someone with vehicle technical training or a completed upper secondary education supplemented with broad experience that the employer considers equivalent. To be a candidate for this position, you have at least a couple of years of work experience from the workshop industry working with heavy vehicles/construction machinery. You also have experience reading electrical schematics and troubleshooting with diagnostic equipment and multimeters. Beyond this, we see that you have good knowledge in vehicle electronics and troubleshooting as well as good computer skills. You can also utilize technical information in workshop software. We consider it meritorious if you have experience working with BOSCH TRUCKS or if you have worked at a brand dealership in recent years. A Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles is a requirement for the position. It is meritorious if you have Class C and CE licenses as well as a forklift license. To succeed in this position, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. If you also have knowledge of English, that is an advantage. As a person, you have the ability to work independently while also enjoying working closely with others. For this position, it is important that you have good technical skills as well as interest and ability to seek information and develop within your profession. You also enjoy sharing your knowledge with others at the workplace. Keeping to schedules and following safety regulations are a matter of course for you. It is also important for you to achieve good quality in your work and to ensure that customers are satisfied.
