To strengthen our operations and ensure quality, legally sound, and sustainable social work, we are expanding the unit with two social workers for the income support unit. This recruitment is part of our efforts to meet the requirements and needs that follow from the activity requirement. At the income support unit, we work with investigating, assessing, and deciding on financial assistance. Our goal is to support people toward self-sufficiency, and our shared values are that every individual has inherent resources and the capacity for personal responsibility. One position is planned to be placed within the intake function, where the focus is on new applications, assessments, and early interventions. The other position is planned to be part of the ongoing case management group, responsible for follow-up and long-term support to current clients. The Income Support Unit and the Employment Unit (AME) are co-located, which creates excellent conditions for close collaboration, efficient work processes, and coordinated support to individuals. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education in behavioral sciences. It is meritorious if you have previous experience with financial assistance and digital case management in e-services (open-E and Interact). Your New Workplace The Income Support Unit consists of 12 employees, of which 10 are social workers, with one group working in the intake function and the rest providing long-term assistance in the ongoing group. The unit is led by a unit manager and two senior social workers. Our workplace is located in central Partille, approximately a 5-minute walk from the Allum shopping center, bus, and train station. You also have the opportunity to park your bicycle in a secure area. The municipal building has a newly renovated and well-equipped gym with free access.
