The unit currently has nine family therapists and one family support coordinator, four people in the school social work team, one family counselor, and three curators at the family center. Assignments may be rooted in relationship and communication problems within families, difficulties of parents/caregivers in understanding, responding to and guiding their children, or behavioral problems in children and young people. WORK TASKS As a family therapist, you work by building relationships with the families you meet through trust and confidence to create the conditions for change. Family therapy is conducted on assignment from investigating social workers with defined change goals or on assignment without a formal support decision.
