WORK TASKS Do you want to build up an initiative that can give more young people their first experience of working life? Gävle Municipality is investing in developing opportunities for young people aged 13-16 to gain a meaningful first experience of working life through summer jobs. As coordinator, you will have a central role in developing the initiative from idea to implementation and creating a model that in the long term can give significantly more young people the opportunity to try working life, earn their first own money, and get a first line on their CV. This is a role for you who enjoys creating structure, building relationships, and making things happen. You work both strategically and operatively and collaborate with the municipality's sectors and companies, business community, and civil society. You also have contact with young people, guardians, employers, and other stakeholders. The initiative is part of the municipality's work on social sustainability, participation, and security. Through your work, you contribute to giving young people the opportunity to develop experiences, networks, and faith in the future. Your work tasks include: • Building up, planning, and developing a long-term sustainable model for the municipality's summer jobs for youth. • Coordinating the process from application and recruitment to matching and placement of summer jobs. • Creating and developing relationships with municipal operations, employers, and other actors who can offer summer jobs. • Coordinating information and communication to young people, guardians, employers, and other stakeholders. • Developing routines and working methods for among other things introduction, supervision, work environment, and follow-up, as well as providing support to operations that receive young people. • Following up on young people's and employers' experiences, producing statistics and information, and using the results to develop the operation. • Collaborating with the municipality's sectors and companies, business community, and civil society to create more and better opportunities for young people. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who wants to help build an operation with clear social benefit. You have experience of driving work forward, creating structure, and coordinating multiple actors towards a common goal. You thrive in a role where you can take responsibility, build relationships, and turn ideas into concrete operations. Requirements for the position: • University education in, for example, social sciences, behavioral sciences, pedagogy, social work degree, HR/personnel and organization, study and career guidance, public health science, or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position. • Experience of project management, change work, or creating new working methods, processes, or operations. • Experience of coordinating assignments, projects, or operations where multiple actors need to be involved, and of driving work from idea to implementation. • Experience of relationship-building work and collaboration with different target groups and organizations. • Good communicative skills in Swedish as well as good digital competence and experience of working in digital systems and tools for, for example, administration, communication, documentation, and follow-up. It is meritorious if you have experience of: • Work with young people. • Labor market issues, skills supply, or work life introduction. • Work within a municipality or other public operation. • Collaboration with the business community and/or civil society. • Work with social sustainability, participation, inclusion, crime prevention work, or recruitment and matching processes.
