In the role of placement coordinator, you are a support for colleagues and the organization in matters relating to external placements. You coordinate contacts with HVB, supported housing, sheltered housing, and other external service providers. You will have a central role in working to create conditions for working locally. In your role, you will, among other things, coordinate and support placements by maintaining established contacts with care providers. Your Assignment We are seeking a teacher for our after-school program at the adapted primary school for the upcoming fall semester. Your role involves working together with colleagues to ensure that instruction stimulates students' development and learning by building on their needs, interests, and experiences. You will provide structured and developmental instruction that connects to students' knowledge and experiences from school while looking toward the future. To support students' development and learning, it is important that the activities students encounter in the program have a clear purpose. As a teacher in the after-school program, you will provide support during the school day. Workplace Description The adapted primary school is located in the industrial community of Ljusne at the mouth of the Ljusnan River. We have close access to forest, river, and sea. The school grounds also include grades F-9 of the regular primary school and Ljusne preschool. The public library and school library share facilities here. The two school buildings date from the 1950s and 1970s and have been renovated several times over the years to adapt to our operations. The adapted primary school consists of nine student groups with approximately 40 students total, from grades 1-9. Two student groups study subjects, and seven groups study subject areas. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in leisure-time pedagogy/teaching in after-school programs and a teaching license, with previous experience working in after-school programs. It is an advantage if you have experience working in adapted primary schools or with people who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism. We would appreciate if you have knowledge of TAKK and AAC and have used them in your work.
