Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Skåne consists of outpatient care, inpatient care, and specialized teams. Outpatient care is divided into four geographic areas plus the First Line area, which has units throughout Skåne. The service provides specialized child and adolescent psychiatry for patients up to 18 years old. Within Bup specialized care, the mission is to provide services to patients with moderate to severe psychiatric conditions. The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry area Helsingborg/Ängelholm/Landskrona provides outpatient care through clinics and intermediate care, which includes family day care and infant services. The three clinics' sizes are proportional to their respective catchment areas, with Helsingborg being the largest, Ängelholm the medium, and Landskrona the smallest. Inpatient care is located in Malmö. Bup in Skåne is an accredited university health care unit, which among other things means close collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at Lund University regarding both research and education. At Bup Intermediate Care in Helsingborg, we are organized with an infant clinic, an eating disorder team, and a clinic for ages 6–18 years. We work with children and families from 0 to 18 years and are open during daytime with clinic visits both at the clinic and outside it, for example through home visits. As a psychologist with us, you work in a team together with a curator, family therapist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, nurse, and physician. You work with qualified assessment, investigation, and treatment work both individually, in groups with patients, and with their families. We work primarily at the clinic but also outside it, for example in the patient's home environment and with more intensive contacts. Work tasks also include team conferences and participation in service development, training initiatives, and method development. An important part of the work is collaboration around the patient both within the service and with care partners, as well as other partners the patient comes into contact with. Our next initiative is to implement the FACT Model. Our intermediate care is characterized by good atmosphere and staff with high competence. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist with authorization to work in Swedish health care. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. It is a merit if you have previously worked in psychiatry and/or with children, adolescents, and families, preferably within child and adolescent psychiatry. We are looking for a colleague with high competence, experience, and interest in patients and families with complex issues. You have great commitment, humility, and flexibility. Since you work in a team with other professions at the clinic, very good collaboration skills are essential. A large part of the work also requires independence, so you need to be responsible and both comfortable with and accustomed to independent work.
