Collaboration is a central part of the mission. The work happens together with government agencies, municipalities, regions, and other stakeholders, and you need to be able to translate different needs and perspectives into shared priorities and solutions that create concrete value. You translate political direction, the agency's goals, and strategic priorities into clear direction, priorities, and decisions within your area of responsibility. As a leader, you're confident and stable and exercise good judgment even when conditions are complex, changing, or pressured. You create clarity, direction, and calm during change. At the same time, you're action-oriented and take responsibility for driving work forward. You translate decisions and strategies into action and create results and sustainable development through others. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your leadership. At Avalon, we believe the best results are created by people who take ownership — of their work, their development, and each other. That's why we've built an organisation where learning is central, and leadership isn't tied to a title. This is very important to us. To succeed in the role, we believe that you have: • At least 10 years of experience as a producer/director, with a strong portfolio of corporate or commercial film work • Demonstrated experience working with large corporate clients, ideally in long-term or retainer-style relationships • Strong knowledge of the corporate communications landscape, and the different formats and requirements for internal and external audiences • Proven ability to manage the full production lifecycle: concept development, scripting, planning, on-location producing/directing, and post-production oversight • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build trust throughout a production • Fluency in English, written and spoken, and an understanding of Swedish • Comfortable working as part of a larger, multidisciplinary production team Why Join Us You'll be stepping into a senior role on one of our most important client accounts, with many exciting ongoing projects. You'll also have the creative freedom to shape future high-profile documentary and commercial productions from the ground up — backed by an experienced team and a client relationship built on years of trust. Avalon is a long-term partner in Brand Experience and Storytelling. We create experiences and stories that engage and move people, bringing together the latest technology and creativity. When it comes to film, we create everything from larger campaigns to smaller-scale film productions. We are approximately 50 employees with offices and a studio in Vasastan.
