During a work shift you may work in several different activities as needs dictate. In the support team, you work, among other things, in people's homes to provide relief to families, as well as as a companion to various people within the target group. In personal assistance, you work in the person's home. The work involves providing support, service, and care to people based on an individually designed implementation plan. You assist with care, recreational activities, meal preparation, and housework. We work in accordance with the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and health and medical services in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). You meet different people who need your commitment, flexibility, and resourcefulness to thrive in the company of others. You need to have good knowledge of LSS legislation. The work places high demands on personal responsibility, flexibility regarding working hours and initiative, and that you have a professional appearance. As a person, you are confident in yourself and your professional role, are organized, quality-conscious, creative, and follow procedures. Documentation is an important part of our work, so you need to be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing and have good computer skills.
