Description We are now seeking a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with subject qualifications in Swedish, mathematics, English, and Social Studies for a temporary position. The position is time-limited and extends until June 2027. Oscar Fredriksskolan is a grades F-6 school located in the heart of Linnéstaden with excellent public transportation via both bus and tram. We have approximately 40 staff members working with our 380 students. Together with Fjällskolan, we form the school area Centrum 13. Oscar Fredriksskolan is a PALS school in collaboration with Västra Götaland Region, which means we conduct systematic work to create a good learning environment where students thrive and feel safe, where they have good opportunities for development and learning. We are also a practice school for teacher training students where almost all teachers serve as mentors. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a certified teacher for grades 4-6 with subject qualifications in Swedish, mathematics, English, and Social Studies. You will be part of the grades 4-6 work team and collaborate closely with colleagues as a class teacher in grade 5 and with some teaching in our support group for grades 4-6. The position includes responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons as well as mentoring. In your role as a teacher with us, we seek someone with strong collaboration skills in order to achieve our goals. We also see that you promote a respectful work climate and build good relationships with both colleagues, students, and guardians.
