Nurse - Vemdalsskalet Season 2026/2027

Vemdalsskalet is located in the heart of Härjedalen and the medical clinic is directly adjacent to the ski resort. The clinic is operated by Region Jämtland Härjedalen and is a branch of Sveg Health Center. The clinic is open during the winter season with a nurse Monday-Saturday, daytime between 8-17, and with a doctor on site for parts of the day and on call during other times 8-17. Close collaboration occurs with the ski patrol as they transport injured patients to the clinic, which is directly adjacent to the ski slopes. From Vemdalsskalet it is just over 11 miles to Östersund and 3-7 miles to the nearest health center, which places high demands on knowledge of rural medicine.
