The clinic is operated by Region Jämtland Härjedalen and is a branch of Sveg Health Center. The clinic is open during the winter season with a nurse Monday-Saturday, daytime between 8-17, and with a doctor on site for parts of the day and on call during other times 8-17. Close collaboration occurs with the ski patrol as they transport injured patients to the clinic, which is directly adjacent to the ski slopes. From Vemdalsskalet it is just over 11 miles to Östersund and 3-7 miles to the nearest health center, which places high demands on knowledge of rural medicine. WORK TASKS We are seeking a nurse for the season, Monday-Saturday 8-17, during the winter season 2026/2027, starting week 51 through season closing week 17 2027. Weekend duty may occur. The scope of work will be discussed at interview. The work involves working together with the responsible doctor to manage clinic operations and collaborating with the doctor on duty. The nurse is a central player in the operation and is responsible for conducting an initial medical assessment (according to RETTS triage) as well as assessing and prioritizing care needs. The nurse's role also includes introducing and facilitating doctors with documentation in the Cosmic medical records system as well as managing the cash register and ordering supplies. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse who is interested in trauma care and emergency medicine. It is advantageous if you have experience in emergency care or are trained as a district nurse. You are driven, can work independently, and see it as an exciting challenge to work in close proximity to a ski resort. It is of great importance that you can collaborate, are curious and enjoy the work, and are confident in your professional role as the work requires a high degree of independence.
