The Swedish Armed Forces' central flight safety management is primarily organized within the Air Command. With new requirements in the areas of airworthiness and aircraft maintenance, the flight safety management is being complemented with a new role, Safety Manager. The position is established as a deputy to the Chief of Flight Safety in the Air Command's Safety Department.
