The Disability Care services in Umeå Municipality aims to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life, through proximity and collaboration. Istidsgatan 27 is a service residence within LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Here, 14 residents with intellectual and physical disabilities of varying ages live in their own apartments while sharing common spaces. We are now seeking a new support pedagogue for our residence - could you be the one we're looking for? Your responsibilities Together with your colleagues, you will support people with disabilities. You work to make individuals active participants in a functioning everyday life and to enable a successful leisure time. As a support pedagogue, you work with evidence-based pedagogical methods to create safety and structure in daily life for people with disabilities. You guide staff in user-centered work and actively contribute to quality development, documentation, and introduction of new colleagues. You are also part of a network of support pedagogues where you have the opportunity for experience exchange and continuous professional development. You work on assignment from your supervisor, and assignments may vary over time depending on operational needs. Care work is part of the job and may include, for example, personal hygiene, support with meals, cleaning and laundry, planning activities, accompanying residents to medical appointments, medication delegation, and documentation. The workplace may involve smoking, heavy lifting, and challenging behavior. To create safety and stability for those living with us and to make challenging behaviors manageable, it is important to follow routines and cooperate within the work team. Work hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekend shifts and on-call combinations. Joint planning occurs between our operations within Disability Care Services. About you As a person, you are calm and confident and find it easy to follow routines. Requirements Post-secondary education in the form of at least 200 vocational college credits in support pedagogy or equivalent vocational college education. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits in relevant courses related to disability care services. Programs and/or courses with a clear focus on working with intellectual, cognitive, or psychosocial disabilities. Geografigränd is a service residence under the LSS Act with a focus on mental disabilities. The operation consists of seven apartments clustered in a nearby area. In your work, you will be based in a shared apartment that contains an office/on-call room and opportunities to gather for joint activities. Individual support is provided primarily in the resident's own apartment. Himlastigen is a group residence under the LSS Act focused on socio-psychiatric disabilities. The operation, which is a new construction, has six residential places. All residents live in their own fully-equipped apartments and have access to a shared kitchen and living room. We are now looking for you to work as a support assistant with us! Your Tasks As a support assistant, you provide individual, social, and practical support to enable and utilize each person's own abilities and thereby create conditions for independence. You work to involve the individual in daily activities such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. You are also there to contribute to meaningful leisure time and/or activities. Coordinator for Sami Project, Library Development, Västerbotten

Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. Library Development Västerbotten works to promote development, collaboration, and quality in the region's public library activities and to strengthen libraries' role as a force for democracy, participation, and diversity. Since March 2026, together with Region Norrbotten, Region Västernorrland, Region Jämtland Härjedalen, and Region Dalarna, we have been running the inter-regional book start project Miessie. The project is funded by the Swedish Arts Council and aims to strengthen the Sami language of the youngest children in everyday life and activities through collaboration. The project contributes to promoting language development and reading among young children in the Swedish part of Sápmi. Collaboration takes place primarily between professionals and actors working with young children's language development, such as children's librarians, child health nurses, speech therapists, and educators. Sámi Library and Sámi Language Center are also actors in the project. We are now seeking a coordinator on a part-time basis who can strengthen the work with, among other things, Sami cultural and language knowledge. Together with the existing project manager, you will drive the project forward in collaboration with other regions and stakeholders. Native Language Teacher in Lule Sámi, Center for Multilingualism

Do you speak Lule Sámi? Finnish, Yiddish, Meänkieli, Romani Chib, and Sámi are national minority languages in Sweden. Students who belong to one of the national minorities have the right to instruction in their native language, regardless of whether it is a living language in the home or not. This means that students have the right to study the language even if it is a beginner language. Umeå Municipality WANTS MORE when it comes to developing instruction in national minority languages, with particular focus on preschool and younger children. A longer-term development project is underway based on finding successful language models for instruction in and through the national minority language for both first and second language speakers. We are now looking for you to help our students continue to develop their language, culture, and identity! Employment Form This position is a special fixed-term part-time appointment at 40%, with planned start date August 17, 2026 through June 9, 2027. Remote work for teachers living in other parts of Sweden is possible and the scope may change. Your Responsibilities As a native language teacher, you will instruct students from preschool class through grade 9 together with other native language teachers. Home Health and Care Services (HSIH) consists of occupational therapists, physical therapists/physiotherapists, nurses, and nursing assistants. Licensed Psychologist for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic is a regional clinic with reception units in Umeå, Lycksele, and Skellefteå. The clinic also includes a BUP inpatient ward located in Umeå. BUP Västerbotten is a USVE unit with close collaboration with the university and research. Within the clinic, we work in multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with patients' families and other networks. In our assessment team, we meet children and young people with suspected neuropsychiatric conditions, as well as other difficulties such as psychotic symptoms, personality issues, or concurrent somatic conditions. The team continuously engages in development work to ensure that each child receives the right intervention and ongoing support as part of the implementation of standardized care processes. During spring and fall, we strengthened our assessment team with five positions for a targeted mission to address children and young people who have waited the longest for an initial appointment. The Center for Multilingualism works to ensure that students have the opportunity to receive instruction in their native language as well as academic support in the language they master best.
