Bruksbacken Care and Housing Facility is located in a scenic area by the Sävar River, just a few minutes' walk from Sävar center with shops and a pharmacy. The surroundings offer walking paths and seating areas for outdoor activities. Bruksbacken has 51 apartments distributed across five units. There is also a short-term care unit on the premises.
We are now looking for you to work as a care assistant on a temporary basis!
Your Tasks
Through good communication and a professional approach, you will assist our residents in their daily lives. You will work with personal care and, under delegation from the responsible nurse, perform medical tasks. Your tasks also include documenting measures and health conditions. You will also serve as a contact person, which means being responsible for ensuring that goals and services from the care decision and implementation plan are known and carried out with high quality, with the resident's participation in focus.
Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong professional competence based on maturity, responsibility, and well-developed empathetic ability. You demonstrate strong commitment to both clients and operations, which is evident in your relationships and actions. You work independently and show patience and initiative in various situations. You also have excellent ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Requirements
Experience in care work
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate with residents, family members, and colleagues, read and contribute to care documentation, and to receive medication delegation
Merits
Experience working in elder care/care and housing facilities
Pets (dog) and smoking may be present in the workplace, so you should not have allergies. Heavy lifting occurs; lifting aids must be used.
