Responsibilities The Hultgren Laboratory is a KTH infrastructure facility open to students and researchers from universities, institutes, and industry. It offers a comprehensive set of instruments for sample preparation, materials characterization, and measurement of material properties. The Laboratory Manager holds a key role in achieving these goals. The unit has a national mandate, meaning patients come from throughout Sweden via referral. All admissions are planned, and treatment includes both intensive outpatient care and 24-hour care. Your role As a systems administrator with us, you work in the space between operations and IT. You understand the operational needs and at the same time can familiarize yourself with technical solutions and how different system components interact. Currently, a procurement process is underway for a new case management system and a new contact center platform. As a systems administrator, you will have a central and active role in the implementation and establishment of the new system support. You will troubleshoot and solve problems in the contact center platform where computers, audio equipment, and software need to work together. You work closely with operations, IT, and other stakeholders to shape the solutions, configure and set up the systems, and establish new work methods. The goal is to ensure that the system support functions well and meets operational needs. Your main responsibilities are to Capture operational needs and translate them into practical and sustainable solutions in close collaboration with operations, IT, vendors, and other partners Plan and adapt communication and support around changes, new features, and work methods for different target groups Document, standardize, and create uniformity in solutions, configurations, and work methods, and ensure that users receive the right information and support Configure, administer, and establish system support, and participate in the implementation of new systems and work methods Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve incidents and problems, identify root causes, and contribute to long-term improvements Drive continuous improvement work and contribute to the development of the team's work methods, structure, and responsibility distribution. The work is varied and you will alternate between operational and more long-term issues, and you will work both close to operations and close to IT. For example, it could involve configuring a case management system, preparing information before a change, or planning how new functionality should be implemented and communicated to different parts of the organization. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has Post-secondary education in, for example, systems science, communication, informatics, political science, or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways At least one year of work experience in similar work, for example, in systems administration, IT support, contact centers, technical administration, systems administration, or similar Experience working in a large and/or complex organization Experience troubleshooting and resolving problems related to IT systems or technical user environments Experience working with system support and understanding of how different technical components and systems interact Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have Experience from municipal operations, preferably the City of Stockholm Experience in systems administration according to PM3 or another established model Experience in implementation, configuration, and administration of system support, preferably in case management systems and contact center platforms Experience in implementing various AI solutions Experience in user information, guides, and communication during system changes and implementations.
