Specialist Officer, Function Leadership and Development at Must

The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services in support of Swedish foreign, defense and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats to Sweden. Main Responsibilities In this role, you will work with both ongoing case management and development work within various projects. The work is conducted in close cooperation with other parts of the Swedish Armed Forces as well as collaboration with other authorities and NATO. You will have a central role in developing the Swedish Armed Forces' intelligence and security service function and contribute to the Armed Forces' long-term capability. Examples of Work Tasks: Participate in projects and manage ongoing cases within your area of responsibility. Contribute to the development of overarching strategic concepts, doctrines, and objectives and requirements for the Swedish Armed Forces' intelligence and security service function. Collaborate with other parts of the organization and with other authorities. The position is located in Stockholm, where the majority of the work is conducted. Official travel occurs as well as participation in the organization's exercise activities, which may involve absence of a few weeks per year. The role also provides broad knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' processes and how the various parts of the operations collaborate. The department works closely with other planning and development activities within the Swedish Armed Forces, NATO, the Government Offices, other authorities, educational institutions and the business sector.
