We are looking for you who are an experienced chartered auditor with a strong interest in audit methodology, regulations, and the profession's development. You have built solid competence through several years of work at an audit firm and thrive in a role where you analyze complex issues, share your knowledge, and provide qualified support to other professionals. Requirements and qualifications Several years of experience in audit work at an audit firm At least three years of experience as a chartered auditor Very good knowledge of audit methodology Experience with audits of small and medium-sized enterprises under K2 and K3 Experience with different business structures and organizational forms Good understanding of related areas such as accounting, tax, and payroll Good IT skills Fluent Swedish and good English in speech and writing Meritorious Experience in project management Experience with methodology development, guidance, or knowledge materials As a person, you are analytical, structured, and knowledge-driven. You have a genuine interest in audit matters and appreciate diving deep into complex regulations and methodology issues. As a Senior Audit Specialist, you will become an important part of the client's advisory and specialist operations. You will provide qualified support to audit professionals and guide on matters relating to audit, accounting, methodology, and regulations. The questions can range from practical application issues to more complex methodology and regulatory matters. This means you continuously work with current issues and changes within the audit industry. You will be part of a specialist team with expertise in audit, law, and accounting. The work is characterized by close collaboration, extensive knowledge exchange, and a shared commitment to ensuring high quality and relevant guidance. Work tasks may include: Advisory work in audit and accounting Interpretation and application of regulations, recommendations, and professional standards Handling and documentation of advisory and member matters Collaboration with internal specialists in law, audit, and accounting Development and creation of guidance, templates, and methodology support Monitoring and analysis of new regulations and industry issues Contribute to knowledge dissemination through webinars, podcasts, and other activities Participate in developing the advisory and knowledge offering Contribute to the development of audit methodology and professional practices This assignment is a consulting position starting January 2027 and running through December 2027. The position is approximately 70–80% full-time equivalent and is offered in a hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote.
