Working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00–16:00, one Saturday every five weeks, and on-call duties may occur once you are more established in the role. The company is located in Kallhäll.
What the Role Entails
As an automation technician, you will have a central and development-oriented role where you contribute to stable operations and future smart production solutions. You work proactively with control systems and ensure they are both efficient and reliable. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to combine technical expertise with high-level problem-solving.
Your main responsibilities:
Drive development and changes in control systems—from idea to implemented solution in close collaboration with production
Handle operational disruptions and quickly implement measures when urgent needs arise
Support technicians and operators in troubleshooting and optimization
Ensure quality and traceability through clear and structured documentation
Build and develop partnerships with both internal and external parties
Initiate and lead improvement work that increases availability, safety, and efficiency
Participate in and lead problem-solving, from root cause analysis to long-term solutions
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is early in their automation career and wants to continue developing in a role where you have significant responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact. You have approximately 1–3 years of experience in the field and ideally relevant education. You have an interest in technology and a good understanding of automated processes.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
Basic knowledge of SCADA systems and SQL Server
Good understanding of industrial processes and control systems
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is a merit if you also have:
Experience with industrial automation systems, such as Rockwell Automation
Knowledge of process industry such as food production
