Description Specialist Psychiatry Clinic 7, St. Eriksplan is an outpatient clinic with a general psychiatric mandate for assessment and treatment, and with a special mandate to assess and treat patients with emotionally unstable personality disorder. The clinic is located at St. Eriksplan and is part of the City section within Northern Stockholm Psychiatry. In the same building there are five additional specialist psychiatric outpatient clinics belonging to Northern Stockholm Psychiatry and two clinics belonging to Psychosis Care Stockholm. Our clinic has just over 25 employees with extensive experience and broad expertise. We have medical secretaries, specialist physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, care assistants, and an occupational therapist. The clinic's staff are highly engaged and the atmosphere is positive, while organizational changes are ongoing at the clinic. Here you will work as a specialist physician alongside four other specialist colleagues, one of whom holds the position of medical director. Work at the clinic is conducted based on care process maps formulated by SLSO, which contain processes for how patients receive assessment, evaluation, and treatment based on evidence-based methods. We collaborate with both internal and external care partners, social services, and the Social Insurance Agency. NSP is a training clinic and the responsibilities of a senior physician also include supervision and teaching of medical students, junior physicians, and specialist trainees. Here we bring together care for patients over 18 years old with psychotic disorders in a single organizational unit. Within Psychosis Care Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research on psychotic disorders. Description We are an outpatient clinic for assessment and treatment of first-episode psychosis patients within Psychosis Care Stockholm. The clinic is located in modern facilities at Atlasmuren, S:t Eriksplan. Continuous development work is conducted here where you as a nurse get to participate and influence the content of care. We work in a team-based approach where everyone's expertise is taken into consideration to offer the best possible care. Work Tasks We are looking for you to work in a multiprofessional team with assessment and treatment of first-episode psychosis patients aged 18-35 years. In addition to regular nursing duties, you will be responsible for coordinating care and support measures for a number of patients. This is a central and varied part of the work. We actively engage with the patient's family and network and make home visits when needed. When inpatient care is required, patients are treated at Ward 21, S:t Görans Hospital, which is a ward for first-episode psychosis patients with whom we have close and good collaboration. You will participate in the development projects and group treatments conducted at the clinic. One example is the mentor project where patients and relatives are trained as mentors to support other patients and relatives. Job Responsibilities As a registered nurse, you hold a central role as a work leader on the unit and are responsible for leading nursing care for our patients. You participate in rounds with doctors and other staff, and perform standard nursing tasks such as blood sampling, medication management, and medical record documentation. Your responsibilities also include supportive conversations with patients, contact with relatives, and coordination with municipal care, outpatient services, and other healthcare providers. Qualifications You are a registered nurse with previous experience working in psychiatric care, preferably in inpatient care. To thrive in this position, you need to be confident in your role as a work leader and have the ability to delegate tasks in a clear and fair manner. You are flexible and can prioritize, plan, and execute your work tasks correctly. You also work well in collaboration and communication with colleagues and your supervisor, even in stressful situations. It is of great importance that as a nurse in psychiatric inpatient care, you are calm, confident, and attentive to patients' needs. You enjoy working closely with patients in their care and can work independently, while also appreciating working together with others to provide patients with the best possible care. Terms This is a temporary position for approximately one year with good prospects for extension. The position involves day and evening shifts, as well as work two weekends out of five. Working hours are 38:15 hours per week.
