We work with analyses of pharmaceutical and pharmacy markets. The unit is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the development of the pharmacy market, pharmacies' economic conditions, and availability of medicines and pharmacy services. TLV determines compensation to pharmacies and makes an overall assessment of pharmacies' economic needs by considering the entire operation. Additionally, we work with market analyses and evaluations of pharmaceutical use from different stakeholders' perspectives: regions, state, pharmacies, pharmaceutical industry, and patients. We also have many government assignments in several different areas. Job Responsibilities At TLV, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to insights about the pharmacy market's development by consolidating data and materials from multiple sources, where financial analyses are an important part. You will also work on developing forecast models for assessments over the coming years. You are an important part of a team of experienced economists and analysts. You will participate in producing reports that describe and draw conclusions from analyses of developments at both an overall and detailed level. Part of your work also involves managing financial support to pharmacies in sparsely populated areas, which means responsibility for application processes, follow-up, and reporting. You will also participate in internal investigations, work with consultations, follow up on projects, and carry out assignments from the government. Additionally, you provide support to other units and departments within TLV by analyzing data and assisting in investigation work. To gather knowledge, you collaborate and maintain dialogue with industry stakeholders, industry organizations, and other authorities, as well as through international cooperation. You have access to detailed sales statistics through TLV's and the National eHealth Agency's databases, as well as external services for financial accounting. When working with us, you may have several different assignments and responsibilities simultaneously. The assignments can vary in complexity and duration. Sometimes you work independently, but often you collaborate with other analysts and different professional groups. This could include national economists, lawyers, pharmacists, health economists, medical researchers, and dentists. We want you to contribute to deepening and developing our monitoring and analysis work within the department, thereby improving our processes. We are looking for someone who has experience conducting financial analyses and assessing market development experience working with corporate and industry analysis, as well as good understanding of how to calculate and analyze profitability measures at least five years of professional experience in a qualified analyst role an academic degree in an area that TLV considers relevant for the position, with a focus on, for example, financial economics, business economics, or national economics very good knowledge of Word and Excel experience writing reports and decision-making documents very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish It is meritorious for the position if you have experience leading projects or analysis assignments experience with economic investigation work experience in pharmaceuticals, competition issues, or other price-regulated markets experience in pricing goods or services experience using relevant statistical programs beyond Excel, such as R, SQL, or similar programs As a person, you are analytical and can critically examine both details and broader contexts.
