Psychosis Care Stockholm is a newly established operation within the Stockholm County Health Care Area. Here we bring together care for patients over 18 years of age with psychotic illness in one organizational unit. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psychosis Care Stockholm, we conduct development work, education, and research on psychotic illness. We work in multidisciplinary teams to provide the best possible care and treatment around the patient. Description Ward 22 is a unit that primarily receives patients with psychotic illness. The ward has 16 care beds, of which one is reserved for voluntary admission. The ward is located in the St. Göran hospital area, which is centrally situated, close to the pulse of the city and with good transportation options. We are committed to conveying a humanistic value base and creating a dignified care environment for our patients. The ward is multidisciplinary and consists of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, social workers, and occupational therapists. By offering supportive conversations, we encourage our patients to engage in activities, exercise, and good eating habits. We are now looking for a nursing assistant who wants to help shape the future of psychosis care. Work Duties We are looking for someone with an interest in patients with psychosis diagnosis. You are a positive person who, together with us, wants to contribute to the ward's development. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for psychiatric and somatic care together with your colleagues. You support your colleagues in daily work and participate in planning and perform, among other things, basic care, supportive conversations, and documentation in the Take Care medical records system. Qualifications You have a certified nursing assistant education with protected professional title, which is a requirement. You are driven, flexible, creative, and have a burning interest in this patient group. You also work well with colleagues and managers and have the ability to work both independently and in a group. If you have longer experience with this patient group, that is a merit. Terms Permanent full-time employment with start as soon as possible by agreement. Trial employment may be applied. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Health Care Area: - background checks are applied before employment decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks at employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee medical examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
