About the Market Analysis Unit We work with analyses of pharmaceutical, pharmacy, and dental care markets. The unit is responsible for, among other things, monitoring the pharmacy market and determining pharmacy trade margins. Additionally, we conduct market analyses and evaluations of pharmaceutical use and dental care consumption from various stakeholders' perspectives: regions, the state, pharmacies, the pharmaceutical industry, and patients. We work on several parallel government assignments and support other units on pricing and competition matters. Job Responsibilities TLV is seeking an analyst for the Market Analysis Unit. As an analyst, you will work on qualified analyses that support the agency's operations and development. You will gather, process, and analyze data and transform results into decision-making materials, reports, and presentations. You will often work on multiple parallel assignments of varying complexity and will participate in more or less extensive investigation projects. The issues often concern how changes in regulations might affect various stakeholders' operations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing developments in the pharmacy market with a focus on accessibility, service, and competitive conditions analyzing and assessing applications for rural subsidies and pharmaceutical price increases conducting analyses of the dental care market and public dental care support preparing and presenting analyses, reports, and decision-making materials for the department and agency leadership. You will participate in preparing reports describing developments within our areas and containing analyses and conclusions about these developments. The role includes participating in government assignments, internal investigations and follow-ups, as well as preparing and responding to consultations from the government and other agencies. Furthermore, you may also provide support to other units within TLV; for example, to the Pricing and Supervision Department, in TLV's international work, or in agency-level investigations and projects. You will work both individually and in teams with other analysts and various professionals, such as economists, lawyers, pharmacists, health economists, and medical investigators. We are looking for someone who has academic education that the agency deems relevant, for example in economics or political science several years of experience with investigation and analysis work experience preparing reports based on your own investigation and analysis the ability to write reports and other investigation texts with high quality outstanding skills in Word and Excel very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English. It is meritious if you have experience with public economic investigation work or economic analysis experience with financial analysis of companies experience analyzing large datasets and can program in R experience from the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacy or dental care market, for example regarding benefit systems, pharmaceutical distribution, logistics, or pricing. As a person, you are proactive and solution-oriented, driven, responsible, and work well in collaboration with others in a team. You work in a structured manner and can present varying issues in a pedagogical and easy-to-understand way, even for those who are not as familiar with the subject.
