BUP Kungsholmen is an outpatient clinic that provides modern child and adolescent psychiatry at the specialist level. We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric illnesses and conditions in children and adolescents, ages 0-17, primarily residing in the districts of Kungsholmen, Norrmalm, and Östermalm. At BUP Kungsholmen, we also have the Finnish team, which offers care in Finnish for children and adolescents from across the region. We specialize in family-based eating disorder treatment (FBT) and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT). We are now seeking a specialist physician to expand our medical team. The team currently consists of three full-time specialist physicians and four specialist nurses. The team also includes rotating medical residents, approximately 2-3 per term. The clinic is centrally located on Hantverkargatan in Stockholm. The staff group consists of approximately 35 employees, including the above-mentioned personnel, as well as psychologists, social workers, an occupational therapist, medical secretaries, an administrator, and a custodian. It is a very pleasant and competent work group with an open culture and strong forward momentum. The clinic has clear working methods and procedures for how we carry out our work, and we have developed administrative support from our administrative team. Main Responsibilities As a specialist physician, your main duties are psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medical treatment of children and adolescents with mental health issues. Clinical supervision of medical residents is also included. As a specialist physician at BUP Stockholm, you will be part of the on-call line, after customary introduction. Qualifications You should be a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry. It is an asset to have experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and experience in supervision. If you have knowledge of the Finnish language, that is also an asset.
