The purpose of the collaboration is to increase participation and democracy in society. The purpose of the evaluation is to determine what works well in the model and what needs to be developed to improve participation for the administration's target groups and civil society. For the past two years, the Function Support Administration has worked more strategically with collaboration and participation with civil society, primarily with associations and organizations within the disability rights field. When the new working methods were launched, it was decided that the model would be evaluated after two years to see if it had worked and if it needed adjustments. The model includes several different forums for collaboration with the associations. This includes forums aimed at more meaningful dialogue between the associations and the administration regarding the services the administration is obligated to provide to Malmö residents. It also includes forums aimed at increasing public knowledge about various disabilities and human rights related to them. The evaluation shall be conducted by interviewing association representatives and possibly developing and sending out surveys to reach more associations. Interviews should be conducted with the coordinators for civil society issues at the administration and possibly other key persons. You will also need to attend meetings in the administration's collaboration forums with civil society to get an understanding of how the work is conducted in practice. An example is the user board, which is a forum aimed at creating participation for civil society in the administration's work. The evaluation shall be compiled in a report showing what has worked and what needs to be adjusted going forward. It will be used to develop the administration's collaboration with civil society during 2027. The report shall be presented to a group of association representatives and responsible officials. As a student assistant at Malmö City, you will have the opportunity to simultaneously with your studies practice your academic knowledge through assignments within our operations. We offer you relevant and qualified work experience, valuable contacts, and salary. Working hours can correspond to approximately 10-15 hours per week. We see that studies in political science, human rights, public health, and strategic communication can be relevant. It is desirable that the student has an interest in or has studied collaboration, the public sector, or civil society. It is an asset if you have experience with voluntary engagement in association life and experience with collaboration with the public sector. It is also an asset if you have competence in or willingness to learn about accessible communication. As a person, you work well with others. This is important for the assignment since you will meet people in different roles and with different prerequisites for participating in the evaluation. You need to have good ability to communicate with different target groups. You need to be good at expressing yourself in writing. It is important that after dialogue with your supervisor, you can take your own initiative. The supervisors will always be available but will encourage you to work independently. For a good final report, you need to have a structured working approach and the ability to plan. About the Workplace You will become part of a small work group that works with issues concerning collaboration between civil society and public administration, participation, disability rights, human rights, public health, and accessibility. Our goal is that during your time with us, you will learn new things and gain understanding and increased knowledge about collaboration processes, accessible communication, and disability rights.
