DUTIES We are looking for an administrator for our studies where we study and map both Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. We have recently demonstrated in internationally recognized studies that we can accurately diagnose Alzheimer's disease through a simple blood test and also detect Parkinson's-related pathology through cerebrospinal fluid analysis. Going forward, we will build on these and other research advances to continue being one of the world's leading research clinics. As an administrator at the research unit, you have contact with participants who are participating or interested in participating in our studies. Contact occurs mainly by telephone and involves both telephone testing and answering questions from study participants. You also perform study administrative tasks such as data entry, copying study materials, mailing to participants, and similar tasks. As an administrator, you are involved in and perform tasks within several studies, which may change over time depending on where your expertise is needed. Together with other research staff, you plan your tasks based on the department's needs and your expertise. In the unit, we work in groups consisting of doctors, nurses, biomedical analysts, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and other administrative staff. Among colleagues in the unit, regardless of profession, there is extensive experience working with and broad knowledge of cognitive diseases. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with completed and approved upper secondary education. Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. You have previous experience working with clinical research studies and meeting study participants and patients with cognitive disease. Experience administering cognitive tests in a structured manner is considered meritorious. As a person, you are organized, service-oriented, and have good collaboration skills. In your work, you are thorough and systematic with the ability to prioritize at varying work pace. Since a large part of the work involves telephone communication, we see it as an advantage if you have experience communicating and answering questions from study participants and/or patients by telephone. You work independently, have the ability to prioritize between different tasks, and can handle parallel processes while maintaining quality. Great importance will be placed on personal qualities.
