Ref: 20261808 Job Responsibilities We are seeking an engaged teacher for instruction in Grade 1 at Nydalaskolan. The work team consists of engaged, knowledgeable, and driven colleagues who look forward to your participation in planning the pedagogical work. You plan for and deliver instruction, lead the class, and capture students' interest in learning toward student/school goals. Your responsibilities also include assessing student performance and developmental needs. You contribute to a positive learning and work environment and find strategies to reach each student and support them in both knowledge development and personal growth. Your role includes mentoring a number of students. You collaborate with colleagues and other staff to evaluate and develop the pedagogical activities in accordance with the school's governing documents. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with teaching credentials for Grades F-3. You are qualified to teach Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language, social studies, and natural sciences. You have good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work, and you have good computer skills. You also have the ability to lead and motivate students toward good academic results. You have good understanding of what linguistic awareness means and how to best apply this in your teaching. We expect you to have a positive view of students and a professional approach, and you work well collaboratively. We would like to see that you have qualifications in several subjects and have several years of experience as a teacher. Experience with early reading instruction is a merit.
