Clinical Genetics and Pathology is an operational area within the Medical Service administration, Division of Laboratory Medicine at Region Skåne, and conducts operations at four locations: Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, and Kristianstad, with a shared operational manager. Within the operational area, we are responsible for, among other things, analysis and diagnostics in pathology and cytology. We provide histopathological, cytological, and molecular pathological services to private practitioners, healthcare centers, community hospitals, emergency hospitals, and Skåne's university healthcare (SUS), and assist with specialized expertise and consultation expertise within the southern healthcare region. We are a great team that works qualitatively with the patient in focus. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now looking for a dedicated nursing assistant for Clinical Pathology in Malmö! In your role as a nursing assistant with us, you will manage the glass archive, tissue block archive, reception, sample registration and handling, telephone service, and output of laboratory results in our lab data system. The assignment also includes responsibility for ordering/refilling consumable materials, handling phone inquiries, and other administrative tasks based on operational needs. The position offers great variety with many different tasks. Your role will be significant. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant with a focus on acute care/healthcare according to the previous program structure, or if you are a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has completed all specializations. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you have worked in a laboratory or have some form of laboratory experience. As we are an operation in transition, we would like to see that you have an interest in participating in any change initiatives.
