About the Organization Ambulance services have a regional mandate and consist of five ambulance stations, three satellite stations operated by Region Västernorrland, and three ambulance stations in private operation. The organization employs approximately 200 staff distributed across five region-operated units, each led by a unit manager, and three contract-operated units. The organization's responsibility encompasses prehospital care, including assessment and treatment of acutely ill and injured patients of all ages and with all types of medical conditions and injuries before hospital care. The ambulance service performs approximately 36,000 assignments per year. In its daily work, the organization maintains important interfaces and collaborations with SOS Alarm, emergency departments, hospital wards, primary care, psychiatric care, state and municipal rescue services, social services, municipal care and elderly services, and police. The Sollefteå ambulance station currently employs approximately 40 specialist nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants (ambulance care providers). The station currently operates three ambulances 24/7 and one patient transport resource, together performing approximately 3,600 assignments per year. We are now expanding operations with an entirely new role as assistant unit manager, who together with our regular unit manager will plan, organize, and lead the work at the unit. The Addiction Team is a region-wide team connected to psychiatric inpatient care at Department 7 in Sundsvall. The position of Diocesan Deacon for Diaconal Development Work is located within the Faith and Life unit, which currently has 15 employees with various roles in promoting worship, education, diaconal work, and mission. This includes areas such as recruitment, worship development, church music, baptism and confirmation, Sámi church life, pilgrim services, institutional chaplaincy, pastoral care, Swedish Church Youth, and volunteerism. Job Responsibilities The position includes strategically developing and monitoring diaconal work within the diocese, as well as supporting diaconal development work with a particular focus on volunteerism and engaged church members. The assignment also includes promoting and strengthening Sámi church life in collaboration with congregations and other relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will plan, coordinate, and implement training initiatives for employees in the diocese's congregations. The position of diocesan theologian is placed in the Faith and Life unit, which currently has 13 employees with different roles in promoting worship, teaching, diakonia, and mission. Duties As a diocesan theologian, you will work with theological reflection, both in relation to congregational life and in dialogue with the wider world. Pilgrimage theology, climate theology, Sámi church life, spiritual deepening, and theology concerning vocation in the church and in congregations are priority areas. The position also includes following theological research. Your work will include: inspiring theological conversations in various contexts assisting the diocese's congregations and pastorates in their theological reflection supporting the bishop in the diocese's theological work working with matters such as consultations on doctrinal questions participating in various working groups and events organized by the diocese. The position includes the opportunity for 20 percent theological research for Härnösand Diocese.
