About the Operation
The LARO clinic works with medication-assisted treatment and rehabilitation for people with opioid/opiate dependence. In your profession, you will support patients in adhering to treatment and planned interventions, and maintain contact with relevant healthcare and care providers, manage medications, and handle administration. Sampling and administrative work are included in the position. At the LARO clinic, a nurse, treatment assistant/nursing assistant/caregiver, medical secretary, PTP psychologist, counselor, physician, and unit manager work together.
We are now looking for nurses who want to become part of our team, grow and develop in their profession, and have a positive impact. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date by agreement.
Job Duties
As a nurse at the LARO clinic, you are offered exciting work where you have the opportunity to combine psychosocial treatment and medical treatment. We work in a team where the patient's rehabilitation goals from their substance use disorder are in focus. Working as a nurse in LARO activities largely involves:
- Administration of substitution medications
- Clinical assessment of patients during clinic visits
- Medication management
- Participation in joint forums
- Administrative work
- Contact and collaboration with relevant healthcare and care providers
Through your work, you will gain in-depth knowledge of psychiatric care and experience in substance abuse treatment within psychiatric specialist care. You will receive training from experienced staff on-site. At the LARO clinic, you work daytime, Monday–Friday. Weekend work may occur, which means 1 weekend out of 5, and only between 8 AM–1 PM.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are a licensed nurse
- Have work experience in the profession
- Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
- Have a Class B driver's license
It is meriting if you:
- Have further education in the field of substance abuse, dependence, and/or psychiatry relevant to the position
- Have experience working in healthcare and care, particularly in substance abuse treatment/psychiatry
