About the Operations Region Västernorrland is the region's largest employer with approximately 6,500 employees. Together, we work to develop the region, healthcare, and dental care. We work closely with the hospital's neonatal department located in nearby facilities. We are now seeking a registered nurse for Department 12. This is a permanent full-time position. The employment is a resource position with temporary placement on the Maternity/Gynecological Care Department 12. Start date immediately or by agreement. Duties On Department 12 in Sundsvall, gynecological and obstetric patients are cared for. As a registered nurse, you are primarily responsible for our gynecological patients and occasionally lighter obstetric cases. We care for women pre- and post-operatively, in early pregnancy, miscarriage and abortion, gynecological cancer, and end-of-life care. By utilizing patients' and relatives' knowledge and experience, you provide high-quality care. About the operation Are you trained as an alcohol and drug therapist, treatment educator/assistant? We are looking for you who have experience working with harmful use and addiction and want to help develop the Dependency Team in Västernorrland! The Dependency Team is a regional team linked to psychiatric inpatient care at Department 7 in Sundsvall. The team functions as a link between psychiatric inpatient, intermediate, and outpatient care, primary care, municipalities, health and medical services, and assists all actors with consultative support and serves as a knowledge center. The team plans care before, during, and after inpatient care and constitutes an important link in the care chain for the individual. The Dependency Team provides guidance and support to the region's municipalities, primary care, and other care partners, and carries out clinical interventions of an outpatient nature. The team, which currently consists of two coordinators, a nurse, a social worker, and a physician, will be strengthened with more staff to, among other things, provide treatment services for direct work with patients with harmful use and addiction and concurrent psychiatric issues. This is part of the transition work in line with the comorbidity reform. We are now seeking two new full-time employees for the dependency team at Department 7. Assistant Unit Manager for Ambulance Services, Sollefteå

About the Organization Ambulance services have a regional mandate and consist of five ambulance stations, three satellite stations operated by Region Västernorrland, and three ambulance stations in private operation. The organization employs approximately 200 staff distributed across five region-operated units, each led by a unit manager, and three contract-operated units. The organization's responsibility encompasses prehospital care, including assessment and treatment of acutely ill and injured patients of all ages and with all types of medical conditions and injuries before hospital care. The ambulance service performs approximately 36,000 assignments per year. In its daily work, the organization maintains important interfaces and collaborations with SOS Alarm, emergency departments, hospital wards, primary care, psychiatric care, state and municipal rescue services, social services, municipal care and elderly services, and police. The Sollefteå ambulance station currently employs approximately 40 specialist nurses, nurses, and nursing assistants (ambulance care providers). The station currently operates three ambulances 24/7 and one patient transport resource, together performing approximately 3,600 assignments per year. We are now expanding operations with an entirely new role as assistant unit manager, who together with our regular unit manager will plan, organize, and lead the work at the unit. As assistant unit manager, you report directly to the unit manager. The position is a permanent appointment in your base profession, and the management assignment is time-limited in accordance with the Region's leadership policy. As assistant unit manager in Region Västernorrland, you represent the employer and exercise leadership grounded in good self-awareness and characterized by honesty, openness, sense of responsibility, and personal courage. Job Responsibilities The role involves a management assignment with limited supervisory responsibility where you assist the regular unit manager with management work regarding operations, finances, and personnel.
