About the Operation Local Healthcare Area West has a central role in the transition to care closer to patients by developing working methods and collaboration that create secure, cohesive care chains based on patient needs. Local Healthcare Area West serves the municipalities of Kramfors and Sollefteå and has the mission of providing patients with care through a cohesive care chain that includes well-developed and deepened collaboration with regional healthcare, other hospital specialties, and municipalities in the geographic area. The area includes four operational divisions: Primary Care Sollefteå-Kramfors with five health centers, Primary Care Special Assignments, Medical Clinic-Emergency Department at Sollefteå Hospital, and Lifestyle Medicine Österåsen. Local Healthcare Area West has approximately 300 employees. We are now seeking a Business Development Manager for Local Healthcare Area West for a permanent position. The role is full-time with a start date to be agreed upon. As a Business Development Manager, your task is to support and enable operational development in close collaboration with managers, strategic roles, and healthcare stakeholders. This role involves work at the area/operational level, primarily directed toward the medical clinic and emergency department operations. You will be part of the area's management group and work supportively with planning and follow-up. As a Business Development Manager, you contribute to enabling operational development by assisting with: Process Management (for example, leading or supporting a work process that includes operational development within the region and in collaboration with municipalities) Methodological Support (for example, providing support to employees/managers in designing development work and using improvement tools) Operative Support to Management (for example, preparing materials that facilitate managers in conducting operational development) Responsibilities Plan and lead projects Plan and lead assignments with associated work groups Participate in the area's operational planning and follow-up Sort and assess which improvement tools can be used for specific improvement work Apply various improvement tools, for example conducting process mapping and patient flow analyses Participate in internal analysis work, for example related to deviations, incident analyses, risk assessments, and follow-up/evaluation Conduct investigations that may include environmental monitoring, current state descriptions, current state analysis, and proposals for new solutions Conduct presentations/reports for various groups, for example project sponsors, management groups, information and preparation groups, and union representatives Participate as an operational representative in overarching development work and projects Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has relevant education within healthcare Has knowledge of and experience in compiling and documenting relevant materials/reports Has experience in operational development within healthcare or regional development Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form Has a valid driver's license (Class B) It is meriting if you: Have experience in project management Have knowledge of and experience in sorting and applying various analysis and improvement models/tools To succeed in the role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Flexible Collaboration skills Structured Holistic perspective Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several operations that are essential for residents' ability to participate in society.
