Our hospital locations are Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik. The maternity and gynecological care department, delivery unit, and specialist maternal care in Sundsvall are located in shared facilities, have approximately 80 employees, and we manage approximately 1,400 deliveries per year. We have 14 care beds and 7 delivery rooms. Our staff includes a combined expertise of midwives, physicians, registered nurses, and nursing assistants. We work closely with the hospital's neonatal department located in nearby facilities. At our workplace, we work with continuous improvements in operations to create a good work environment, efficient processes, and to meet patient needs. We are now seeking a registered nurse for Department 12. This is a permanent full-time position. The employment is a resource position with temporary placement on the Maternity/Gynecological Care Department 12. Start date immediately or by agreement. Duties On Department 12 in Sundsvall, gynecological and obstetric patients are cared for. As a registered nurse, you are primarily responsible for our gynecological patients and occasionally lighter obstetric cases. We care for women pre- and post-operatively, in early pregnancy, miscarriage and abortion, gynecological cancer, and end-of-life care. By utilizing patients' and relatives' knowledge and experience, you provide high-quality care. Your duties include: Department work with rounds Sample collection, medication distribution Reporting according to SBAR Nursing care Palliative care With us, you are offered good development opportunities and stimulating work. Department 12 is a 24-hour operation, which means you work day, evening, and night shifts and we work two out of five weekends. There is also the possibility to work every other weekend.
