Our operations are primarily located in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Sollefteå. The operational mission is to deliver IT services and telephony of high quality and security to the region's operations. Deliveries are made through projects, administration, and support to complex and vital operations. IT also works extensively as a client organization since large portions of the region's IT operations are handled by an external provider. We are in an intensive period with continued development of the Cosmic journal system, and this position focuses on care-proximate administration and development. We are now seeking a specialist for the care-proximate system administration unit. You will work within the Care Support and e-Health management object. The unit is responsible for care-proximate system administration of healthcare systems and e-services via 1177. You work closely with healthcare operations and help ensure that systems function in the daily work of healthcare employees. The assignment involves developing, administering, and improving system support used for healthcare administration, documentation, medication management, orders, test results, and digital services to residents. In this role, you help ensure that solutions support safe working methods, efficient workflows, and usable system support in healthcare's everyday operations. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. If needed, the possibility of clinical work on a certain portion of the position may be offered. Work location is Sundsvall, Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, or Sollefteå. Responsibilities - Handle matters related to Orbit/PasIva and ensure these are followed up and resolved - Communicate with power users and operations to capture needs and support system usage - Participate in user forums and collaborate with other regions using Orbit and PasIva - Report status, deviations, and development needs to the object manager - Quality assure documentation and contribute to ensuring that system data and functionality maintain high quality - Contribute to carrying out administration plan activities according to schedule - Coordinate training needs and plan and conduct training initiatives for operations - Analyze operational needs and translate these into concrete improvement suggestions in systems and work methods - Participate in testing, implementation of changes, and system version upgrades Qualifications We are seeking you who: - Have post-secondary education in IT, healthcare, or other education that the employer deems relevant, or equivalent knowledge gained through professional experience - Have experience working with healthcare information systems - Have professional experience in care-proximate system administration or similar work - Have good knowledge of digitalization and how IT support can contribute to operational development - Have experience working independently and managing multiple parallel tasks - Have good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written - Have a B-category driver's license It is advantageous if you: - Have education in system administration, IT governance models (such as PM3 or ITIL) or information systems - Have clinical education (such as nurse, medical secretary, or equivalent) - Have professional experience in system administration of healthcare systems, such as Orbit or PasIva - Have professional experience in change management, testing, and implementation of new system versions - Have professional experience planning and conducting training initiatives - Have professional experience collaborating with suppliers and external parties - Have good knowledge of English, spoken and written For success in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: - Stable - Relationship-building - Collaborative - Self-driven Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several of the operations most vital to residents' ability to participate in society.
