About Us Kretslopp och vatten exists for the residents of Gothenburg. We are responsible for ensuring that some of Gothenburg's most important public services function around the clock, year-round. Through work with water, sewage, and waste, Kretslopp och vatten contributes to creating a circular economy society that enables residents of Gothenburg to live sustainably. Our vision is "We make it easy to live sustainably," and our work truly matters. Gothenburg is growing faster than ever. We work to secure the city's drinking water supply by building and maintaining infrastructure underground. We influence and plan for the development of a Gothenburg that can handle tomorrow's climate challenges. We also ensure that waste generated by Gothenburg residents is collected and treated properly. We work long-term on residents' awareness and behavior regarding circular economy and drinking water use. We are a tax-funded administration with substantial expertise, with approximately 600 employees.
