Nurse/Ophthalmic Nurse
The eye care department offers basic and, to some extent, highly specialized eye care for Gotland's approximately 60,000 residents. Operations are conducted in close collaboration with other surgical and medical specialties. Continuous efforts are made to develop the department and thereby improve care for Gotland's population. We have approximately 13-14,000 visits per year where we provide outpatient care in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and eyelid operations, as well as medical retina clinic with injection services. The department has primary on-call responsibility during daytime and standby on-call duty on weekends. Patients requiring highly specialized care are referred primarily to the eye clinics at St Eriks Eye Hospital or Uppsala Academic Hospital. We have continuously visiting consultant physicians with specialist knowledge in, among other areas, pediatric ophthalmology, corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and plastic surgery, for example for tumor, eyelid, tear duct, and strabismus operations. We have approximately 3-4 specialists per week and 1-2 resident physicians. Our team includes roles such as ophthalmic nurse, nurse, assistant nurse, optician, and orthoptist. The clinic is well-equipped with, among other things, multispot laser, YAG laser, Humphrey perimetry, and OCT. As a nurse, you will gain both broad and deep expertise within your field of competence, as Visby Hospital, the island's only acute care hospital, handles all of the island's eye patients. The Water and Waste Department is responsible for the development, renewal, and operation of Gotland's facilities such as water sources, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipeline networks, landfills, and recycling centers. We ensure a safe and sustainable water and wastewater supply to our subscribers and contribute to Gotland's sustainable development through good planning and prioritization where employees are involved and have significant responsibility within the framework of a good working environment. Your Tasks As an HVAC technician with us, you'll have a varied day-to-day with, among other things: Service & Maintenance - Troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing service for private and commercial customers. SCADA Engineer
Water is our most vital resource, and a secure water supply is crucial for Gotland's future. Within the Water and Waste department, we work every day to ensure a safe and sustainable water and wastewater supply for Gotland's collective. We are responsible for the development, renewal, and operation of facilities such as water sources, waterworks, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, pipe networks, landfills, and recycling centers. In total, we are approximately 130 employees working together for Gotland's sustainable development. We are now seeking a SCADA Engineer for the Planning and Development Works unit (PUV) with placement in Visby. The unit is responsible for planning and engineering both new facilities and renewal of waterworks, wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and pressure booster stations. We also manage projects that form the basis for strategic decisions regarding Region Gotland's current and future water and wastewater supply. The assignment also includes work related to Gotland's water sources, such as water protection areas and permit processes for water extraction. The unit is also responsible for developing and expanding control, regulation, and monitoring systems within water and wastewater operations. Your responsibilities As a SCADA Engineer, you are responsible for the development, management, and optimization of our control systems. The role combines technical specialist work with strategic development of system architecture and functionality. You develop and configure the SCADA system structure, process graphics, alarm handling, trends, and reports, and work with standardization of functions and procedures. The work also includes integration with PLCs, RTUs, databases, and external systems, as well as communication solutions and network protocols. You contribute to high operational reliability through robust design, redundancy, and work with cybersecurity. The role also includes testing, commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting during operational disruptions. You develop technical guidelines and documentation and participate in the long-term development of the control environment. The work is conducted in close collaboration with water and wastewater engineers, IT specialists, operations, and external vendors. Who are you? We are looking for someone with an academic engineering degree or equivalent in automation, electrical engineering, or a similar field, and experience with SCADA systems and system integration. A valid driver's license is required, and you must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of PLC programming, communication protocols, and processes from water and wastewater operations or process industry. Experience with cybersecurity in critical infrastructure is also valuable. As a person, you are structured, analytical, and responsible. You work methodically with quality, testing, and documentation and have a strong focus on operational reliability and long-term solutions. Inspection Officer
Where life happens, traces are left behind, and some of them need to be cleared out before the next tenant moves in. That's why we need to conduct an inspection every time someone changes housing and ensure that the next tenant receives a home in good condition. ABOUT YOUR TASKS As an Inspection Officer, you will be part of the property management and administration department, which is responsible for managing the entire group's properties. You and two colleagues are responsible for conducting move-out inspections in a professional manner. In dialogue with the tenant, you ensure that the apartment is left in the expected condition. In addition to move-out inspections, there may be inspection assignments in both commercial spaces and other types of inspections related to our properties.
