Ung Fritid is seeking a youth recreation leader for a one-year temporary position at Hovsjö youth center. The Youth Recreation Unit is responsible for seven municipal youth centers where young people ages 13-18 are offered open recreational activities in afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Recreation leaders engage youth in shaping and creating their own leisure activities, with special focus on activities that promote democracy, equality, LGBTQ inclusion, and digital online engagement. During school breaks, experience-based activities are arranged for all young people in the municipality, and during summer break, the youth centers offer internship placements. A Day on the Job You start the week by following up on the previous week's youth work with your colleagues. You divide responsibilities and plan how, when, and where you will work during the week.
