For more information, see www.ptj.se/halsan or www.facebook.com/halsanvasa. Job Responsibilities An occupational therapist's tasks within primary care rehabilitation are highly varied. We visit patients at home to assess their assistive device needs and provide device trials. Sometimes we work alone and sometimes in a team with colleagues. We conduct ADL assessments and prepare documents for housing adaptation applications. At the clinic, we work with hand rehabilitation and see both well-assessed patients referred to us and those experiencing pain, where we serve as the first point of contact. We also conduct work capacity assessments. This means we have both clinic visits and home visits, meeting patients individually and in groups. We also make visits together with patients to the assistive device center. Collaboration with other professional categories is a fundamental part of the work. Documentation is recorded in TakeCare. Student supervision is part of the role. Qualifications Licensed occupational therapist with an interest in working within primary care. Further education and experience are advantageous. A valid driver's license is required. The position may suit both experienced professionals and those new to the profession. We have a well-established mentorship program to ensure the best possible introduction. Currently, we have three occupational therapists who support each other in daily work. Personal Qualities You are positive, flexible, and take initiative. You are a good team player and enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You have good interpersonal skills and multicultural competence. Personal suitability is given considerable weight.
