We are looking to hire more of Sweden's best social secretaries. In Children and Youth, you will have meaningful and challenging work. We always proceed from the Convention on the Rights of the Child with the child's needs and participation in focus and handle child welfare cases with high quality and efficiency. Our unit consists of 13 social secretaries, an administrator, two parent support workers (one of whom also provides mentoring to social secretaries), three group leaders, and a results unit manager. We have transformed our Children and Youth operations to support the Signs of Safety approach. Your Responsibilities Your main responsibilities include following up on interventions for placed children, supporting children and their biological parents and networks, including unaccompanied children, who need care in network homes, emergency foster homes, and foster families according to the Social Services Act or LVU. The social secretary and family foster care secretary work in a shared team around the placed child. Who Are You? At the Authority Placement unit, you represent the Social Services Children and Youth department to clients, citizens, and collaboration partners. You therefore possess broad knowledge of the social services' authority and interventions and can make independent assessments in cases. Requirements: - Degree in Social Work (Socionomexamen) - Good computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) - Excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing - Driver's License Category B - Experience in social work with children and/or young people Meritorious: - Experience working with authority matters. - Training in Signs of Safety Personal Qualities: - We are looking for someone with a clear child perspective - We see that you are professional in your work role and show respect for your mission and work according to our values - You are responsible, which means you take responsibility for a work climate that develops the organization - You are engaged and motivated and use your knowledge and abilities to develop the organization We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
