Vittra Östertälje is seeking an engaged, qualified, and licensed German teacher Vittra Östertälje is located on the outskirts of Östertälje, in Södertälje municipality. The school is situated adjacent to forests and natural areas and we have access to outdoor fitness facilities, artificial grass fields, lit trails, a sports hall, and Sörmlandsleden directly adjacent to the school. Vittra Östertälje has had strong academic results for several years and students who are now attending upper secondary school have returned to tell us that they were well prepared for continued studies—we are proud of that! What we're looking for We are seeking you who are a licensed and qualified educator with extensive experience teaching German. We would appreciate it if you feel confident in your leadership role, have experience with and value differentiated instruction and focusing on students' conditions and possibilities. We want you to be a pedagogue who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships with students and who is passionate about meeting students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. At Vittra, we strive for an interdisciplinary approach that gives students a holistic perspective and understanding of how different subjects connect. The position includes teaching German in grades 6-9. Students are divided into language groups and instruction is scheduled for two days per week, corresponding to approximately 40%. The position is approximately 40% with immediate start. Instruction is scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays.
