We are looking for a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry for a permanent position as a senior physician within BUP. The role will be tailored to the unit where you are placed, with good opportunities for adjustment based on your expertise and interests. Child and adolescent psychiatry in Region Örebro County (BUP) is part of the Psychiatry Division, a specialist operation with over 900 employees. We consist of three outpatient clinics, a 24-hour care unit with six beds, and a day care unit for small children and their parents. All clinics are centrally located in Örebro. We currently have 15 senior physicians and 5 specialist trainees in a strong collegial team where you as a new member will play an important role in both clinical work and development. All employees receive an individually planned introduction based on your qualifications and assigned support to help you settle into the work. Responsibilities As a senior physician, you will work with: Diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of children and adolescents with mental health issues. Supervision and training of medical students, BT-, AT-, and ST-doctors. We have also launched a dual clinic where senior physicians work in a more consultative capacity and supervise junior physicians during visits. This approach will continue to expand and develop, and your expertise and knowledge will be used to support junior physicians in the best way possible. Consultative services and collaboration with other stakeholders. Participation in operations development and improvement work. You will have close contact with the unit manager and your input will drive changes. We offer the opportunity for partial remote work in the form of digital patient visits, treatment conferences, supervision, and prescription renewals. All necessary equipment will be provided by the employer. Education and Research: BUP Örebro has close collaboration with the medical program at Örebro University. On-Call Duty: The position includes on-call duty on weekday evenings and weekends until 9:00 PM. No night on-call work is required. Qualifications Specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry. Good collaboration skills, sense of responsibility, and interest in development and supervision.
