Your work tasks Would you like to lead employees, develop the business, and at the same time be out in the field? Agroflow is now seeking, on behalf of our client Sättra Växtodling AB, an engaged and driven Managing Director who wants to take on an important leadership role and become a central part of the company's continued development. We are looking for someone with experience in personnel management, a strong interest in crop cultivation, and a drive to find innovative and effective solutions in agriculture. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic and operational leadership with practical work out in the field. At Sättra Växtodling, you will become a key person in the team. You lead, plan, and develop daily operations – while actively participating in the work alongside your employees. Your profile As Managing Director and operational leader, you have overall responsibility for leading and developing daily operations in the cultivation of oil crops. The role involves close collaboration with employees and management, where you ensure that work is planned, allocated, and executed efficiently. You work both in the field and with administrative tasks. During the season, you are an active part of operations, where you participate in machinery operation, harvesting, and other field work. You are expected to be a present leader who works together with the team, sets a good example, and creates engagement through clear communication and good cooperation. We are looking for a confident, driven, and solution-oriented leader who is comfortable taking responsibility and working closely with your team. You have a genuine interest in agriculture and crop cultivation and are motivated by combining practical work with leading and developing others. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have: - Experience in personnel management, work supervision, or a similar leadership role. - Practical experience in crop cultivation and agriculture. - Experience operating machinery - combine harvester. - Ability to plan, structure, and allocate work tasks. - Good communication skills and a natural ability to collaborate with others. - Ability to make decisions, solve problems, and drive work forward. - An unpretentious approach where you are willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team. - Experience in oil crop cultivation, larger-scale crop cultivation operations, or previous responsibility for operations and personnel is a merit. About the company About Sättra Gård and Sättra Växtodling Sättra Gård is located in Upplands Väsby, north of Stockholm. The business works with municipalities in direct management, but also as a subcontractor to larger companies. They also work with major property owners and housing cooperatives and have, among other things, framework agreements with Väsby municipality for water/sewage, streets/parks, and property management. Sättra Gård works closely with its sister company Sättra Växtodling, which operates agriculture focused on grain cultivation and oil crops. Today, the business has approximately 45 employees in areas such as horticulture, landscaping, mechanics, machinery operation, truck driving, excavation work, and agriculture. As Managing Director of Sättra Växtodling, you will become an important part of this operation and will have the opportunity to develop the agricultural division together with engaged employees and management.
