Blackjack Dealer in Nyköping
The best side gig in town - make money where the party is ?? "A year ago I barely knew what blackjack was. Now I'm working at Sweden's most fun bars, running the tables and making more than a lot of my friends." – Julia, 21 years old What's it really like to work as a blackjack dealer? Julia, one of our employees, tells us: What the job actually involves: You stand at the blackjack table, deal the cards, keep track of the game and make sure everyone's having a good time. You set the vibe. One evening you might have a table full of girls on a hen party, the next night a company on their Christmas dinner, and then a fun group out for an afterwork. You're the face of it all – warm, clear, professional. And no, you don't need to know anything about cards or games. All that's required is that you're social, calm under pressure and actually enjoy meeting people. You'll learn the rest through Cherry's free internal training. Why this job? I've tried pretty much everything like cashier, serving, telemarketing. This is the first side gig that actually feels like more than just trading hours for money. Why choose Cherry specifically: No two nights are the same, so the risk of getting bored is non-existent. You get paid to be social and present in a fun environment, not to hide behind a screen or in a storage room. Every shift becomes a journey of discovery among new people, so you become really sharp at reading people, talking and staying on top of things (without even thinking about it). You'll quickly notice that you're a big part of the vibe and without you it's just not the same flow. You build experience that makes you great at all service jobs (and honestly, life in general). It's a flexible job you can combine with studies or other activities. About Cherry: Cherry Spelglädje has existed since 1963 and is Sweden's largest operator of land-based commercial gaming, serving over 80% of the market. We have about 600 employees spread across 40 districts throughout the country. On the floor, Cherry feels like a fun team where camaraderie is strong and many find lifelong friends. Who we think fits: We're looking for someone who contributes to a good vibe at the tables, creates a safe gaming environment and makes guests feel comfortable. You notice right away when the right person is there. You're a social person who likes the pace and doesn't get stressed when things move fast. You think evenings and weekends are prime time. We place great importance on your personal qualities, and previous experience from service roles where customer contact, communication and professional conduct have been a natural part are merits. The practical stuff: Scope: minimum 4 weekend evenings/month, about 20 hours – more if you want Times: evenings and nights, mainly Fridays and Saturdays Salary: from 161 kr/h + premium pay, commission, holiday pay, pension contributions Collective agreement via HRF, affiliated with Visita. Age limit: 18 years · Driver's license and access to your own car are merits, as the work may involve moving between different locations or shifts at varying times. This is one of the few jobs where it actually matters who you are as a person, not what's on your CV. Send your application directly and I hope to see you soon!
