Subject Description Mining and rock engineering encompasses mining technology, rock engineering and rock mechanics, including rock mass properties, tunnel construction technology, design and dimensioning of mines and rock structures, and planning and production processes related to both mining and infrastructure development. Duties Assistant Professors shall conduct research, research supervision, and be involved in teaching activities within relevant areas of the research subject. Particular emphasis is placed on applied research within our field, so good relationships with Swedish and international mining and mineral industries are important. Assistant Professors are also expected to contribute to the University's development, that is, to help obtain external funding for the subject, to communicate research results through academic publications, and to participate in management and administrative tasks. Qualifications To meet the requirements for employment as an Assistant Professor, the applicant must have completed a doctoral degree, or have a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. Priority will be given to candidates who have completed their doctoral degree no more than five years before the application deadline. However, those who have completed their doctoral degree or achieved equivalent competence earlier may also be considered if there are special reasons. Special reasons include leave due to illness, parental leave, or other similar circumstances. Promotion to Professor The purpose of the employment is to give the teacher the opportunity to develop their independence as a researcher and to qualify both scientifically and pedagogically to meet the requirements for employment as a Professor. An Assistant Professor shall, upon application, be promoted to Professor and given a permanent employment if they are qualified for a Professor position, and upon review are deemed suitable for such employment according to the assessment criteria stated below. Promotion requires that the Assistant Professor has completed university pedagogy education equivalent to 7.5 credits, or has otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge. Now we are taking the next step in this work by further developing meaningful 24-hour care. In the role of development leader, you coordinate care efforts around the patient and work both clinically and development-oriented. The tasks include, among other things, specimen collection, medication management, psychiatric nursing care, and documentation. You lead and drive development work related to meaningful 24-hour care as well as its clinical implementation. You also have a mentoring and consultative role towards colleagues in nursing care. We care for patients in the acute phase and have six care beds. The work is conducted in multidisciplinary teams consisting of care assistants, nurses, social worker, psychologist, physician, and medical secretary. Care is provided in close collaboration with outpatient care within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, social services, and pediatric medicine in the region.
