Would you like to contribute to providing excellent neurological care to the residents of Norrbotten? We are seeking a nursing assistant for the Neurology Clinic to help continue developing our services. We at the neurology clinic look forward to welcoming you to our team! Our services contribute to our 24/7 operations, and this position includes at least two weekend shifts per month. What We're Looking For We are seeking a trained nursing assistant with strong Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing at level C1, and at least two years of professional experience as a nursing assistant. It is advantageous to have knowledge of English, experience with clinic work, specimen collection, referrals, and lab procedures. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and value the benefits of working with others. You are self-directed, taking responsibility for your tasks and planning, organizing, and prioritizing work efficiently. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. Your Day-to-Day Work At the neurology clinic, you will combine nursing assistant duties with administrative tasks. You will be responsible for preparing for and assisting with lumbar punctures, managing specimens and specimen collection. Administrative tasks include documentation, inventory ordering, appointment scheduling, sending patient notifications, and more. You will gain broad expertise as the work tasks are varied and developmental—you will learn something new every day. You will work alongside neurologists, nurses, administrators, and other nursing assistants. The clinic serves patients with neurological diseases and conditions for evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment. Some of the most common conditions we work with are MS, Parkinson's disease, Migraine, Epilepsy, and ALS. Work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday. Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements. The position is primarily based on daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Two weekend shifts per month at our inpatient care unit are included. We strive to employ staff with knowledge of Sweden's national minority languages and therefore value your skills in Sámi, Meänkieli, Finnish, Romani Chib, and Yiddish.
