WORK TASKS In your role as Social Worker for Financial Assistance, you will be responsible for processing applications for financial assistance and conducting active change work together with the client. As part of the role, you will also participate in the ongoing project Team Collaboration in Västra Mälardalen, which is financed by the Västmanland Coordination Association. The project is led by a project manager and steering group and targets people between 18 and 65 years old who lack income qualifying for sickness benefits (SGI) and therefore are referred to financial assistance. Together with other actors, the project works to find pathways to work or studies, increased self-sufficiency, and reduced poor health. The project runs through 2027 and comprises 50% of the position. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a degree in Social Work (socionom). It is advantageous if you have previous experience working within social services, particularly within financial assistance, and are trained and experienced in solution-focused approaches. You have a good understanding of the challenges faced by people on the margins of society, and you have experience working with individuals who are far from the labor market where change work and meeting people are an important part.
