Work Tasks On our care unit, we meet patients at different stages of life and their care journey. We care for, among others, stroke patients – both acutely and during rehabilitation – orthopedic rehabilitation patients, and geriatric patients. This means you can go from managing an acute illness one moment to encouraging a patient on their first walk of the day the next. One day it's about neurology, the next about orthopedics, and in between you'll use all of your nursing expertise. With us you'll: work with acute stroke care and neurological nursing follow the patient's journey through rehabilitation and recovery work with orthopedic rehabilitation meet and care for geriatric patients with complex needs work closely in a team with nursing assistants, physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, including through daily team rounds where we plan and follow up on patient care work in our monitoring unit for patients with acute stroke and need for close monitoring use both your brain, your heart, and sometimes your ability to think three steps ahead be part of making a real difference About the Workplace With us, you'll have the opportunity to work in an operation that offers breadth, variety, and development. You have experience working independently, making your own decisions, and taking responsibility for patient care. Experience in stroke care, neurology, rehabilitation, or geriatrics is a merit. Since you'll need to be able to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues in your role, good Swedish language skills are required. We're looking for someone who is confident, responsible, and independent, but who also enjoys collaborating with other professionals. You see the value of teamwork and actively contribute to creating safe and quality care for the patient. You are flexible and adapt easily to varying work pace, where acute situations can alternate with planned interventions and long-term care contacts. You have a person-centered approach and a genuine interest in patients' recovery, health, and well-being. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Terms Permanent, full-time.
