Analyst - Temporary Position

The Swedish Psychological Defence Agency safeguards our open and democratic society and freedom of thought by identifying, analyzing, and countering improper information influence and other misleading information directed at Sweden or Swedish interests. The Agency is led by a Director General and has approximately 90 employees. The Agency has offices in Karlstad and Solna. The Operations Division works to identify, analyze, and counter improper information influence directed at Sweden. The division consists of three units: two analysis units and one unit for operational response and preparedness. We now need to strengthen our work by hiring a temporary analyst for one of our analysis units, based in Solna. Duties You will join a team of qualified analysts working to identify, assess, and analyze improper information influence and its effects. The unit's work focuses on both state and foreign non-state threat actors, and may also include analyses of other subject areas. The work uses several technical tools for monitoring and analyzing social and digital media. Your assignment will be to structure and document large volumes of information to analyze and interpret developments in the information environment. Your ongoing responsibilities will also include giving oral presentations and presenting assessments both internally and externally.
