Nurse at Dialysis Clinic in Helsingborg

Make a difference. Every day Are you looking for a stimulating and meaningful job where the patient is always at the center? Do you want to be part of a team built on collaboration and commitment? Then this might be the position for you! Dialysis is an exciting field in constant development where the interplay between medical technology and nursing care is of great importance. We have a planned operation where chronically ill kidney patients come two to four times a week to receive their blood dialysis treatment. We also provide acute dialysis on both ICU and HIA as needed. Most of our patients are returning and over a long period, which means we create long-term relationships with a focus on helping them achieve the greatest possible quality of life. This is done by designing the dialysis treatment based on the individual's needs and means that we are increasingly working towards person-centered care where patients are involved in their own treatment. We constantly strive to improve our operations together with our employees and therefore gladly set aside time and space for individual development. We are also open to suggestions from our employees on appropriate measures for skills development. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES In your role as a nurse, you lead and are responsible for your patients' dialysis treatment. Work duties also include nursing care, medical care, and patient education/counseling. You have special nursing responsibility for some of our dialysis patients regarding their long-term planning and treatment in consultation with our doctors. The work includes operating medical-technical equipment, so it's good if you have some technical interest. The department includes a range of different professional categories such as nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, medical secretaries, dietitians, physiotherapists, patient support specialists, and social workers, where we all work together based on our respective expertise for the patient's benefit. You will receive individual introduction for at least eight weeks for handling the dialysis machine as well as care of dialysis patients. Beyond that, there are many different areas of responsibility with opportunities for specialization and, if needed, courses/training. Evening and weekend shifts occur. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. The position requires that you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. If you have previous knowledge and/or experience with dialysis, we see this as a merit. It is also advantageous if you have several years of experience working as a nurse. We see that you who are applying are positive and collaboration-oriented. You have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have a focus on the operations and want to help drive our work forward. We also believe that you are curious, responsible, and like to stay updated on developments within our field of operation. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values; welcoming, driven, caring, and respectful. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. In this recruitment, we apply continuous selection. You are warmly welcome to submit your application today! We look forward to getting to know you. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date: Start date by agreement. Region Skåne exists so that everyone living in Skåne feels well and has confidence in the future. Through seamless collaboration and care, the best conditions are created for a healthy life in business, public transportation, culture, and healthcare in Skåne. Together we make life more possible. Helsingborg Hospital is a versatile workplace with pulse. Here we provide acute care and specialist healthcare around the clock. Most medical specialties are represented and there is intensive care, delivery, and neonatal care. We also have operations at the hospitals in Ängelholm and Landskrona. In Ängelholm, we perform a large part of our planned operations. We are a learning organization in constant development. With us, you get good opportunities to grow and broaden your perspective in interprofessional collaborations with colleagues from different operations. The opportunities to combine research with clinical work are very good and exciting research projects are conducted in several areas. As a trainee, you are expected to work independently in the team around the patient with identified tasks that you are qualified to perform. During your trainee service, you will receive continuous education and solid preparation for your upcoming studies to become an operating room nurse. This knowledge will facilitate your studies and bring you closer to becoming a fully qualified operating room nurse. Together, we will develop an individual education plan lasting approximately eight months, alternating between independent work and theoretical and practical training sessions, reflections, and study visits within our operations. You are expected to apply to the specialist training program during this time. We offer you study pay, which corresponds to maintained base salary during your training to become an operating room nurse. After completing your education, you will have employment within the operating room department in Helsingborg or Ängelholm.
