As a School Nurse, you work closely with the student health team as well as with school leadership, teachers, mentors, and student support staff. The position includes standard duties according to guidelines from the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish National Agency for Education, such as: - Health consultations and health screenings - Open clinics for students - Vaccinations - Preventative and health-promoting work - Health education in the form of lessons/seminars for students Collaboration with the municipality and other agencies, as well as contact with guardians, are a natural part of the role. Qualifications: - Licensed nurse with specialist training in: pediatrics and adolescent health, district nursing, or school nursing program - Prior experience as a school nurse is a merit We are looking for someone who: - Has a genuine interest in children's and young people's health and development - Is flexible, engaged, and takes initiative - Has good teamwork skills and enjoys working in teams - Is passionate about health promotion and preventative work in the classroom, school, and beyond Employment terms: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period. Full-time (100%) daytime hours. Vacation position. Criminal background checks are conducted in connection with employment. Interviews are held on a rolling basis throughout the application period.
